About Owner

Here's to the Crazy Ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward... While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genuis. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
-Jack Kerouac

I'm really not a pro when speaking about myself so bare with me as you read about a girl who really is not that unique. lmao. Or If you're a perso like my asian-mother dearest, you'd think there is no one quite like me in the world, but of course, shes a mom, my mom, so she has to say that.

MORE MORE MOREEEE

Here I am, where I could be super cliche and start with: Hi, my name is Emily. My favorite color is blue, and my birthday is November 25th, hah, right? Well now, that I got that over, I could actually talk about myself--sounds selfish, I know.

Wow, I go off topic alot. So here goes nothing. My name is Emily, I'm 14 year's old and I won't be this age for long. Soon, I'll get older, taller, wiser, who knows, but age will always be a number ♥. I highly doubt people view me as a "straight forward" always "serious" type-of person. I'm the person whose the goofball/party-starter/loose type-girl. The days I don't act this way are the days when my parents forbid me too. Again, I'm only a 14 year-old girl, and my parents are asians who think too much about the decisions they make.

Though I could be silly, I am a very determined young teen who has a list of goals awaiting to be accomplished. Though I do have my goals, I have no clue what I'll be doing in the future. I do have a plan, but there was just an abundance of posibilities awaiting to be succeeded or failed. I believe I'm a fun-loving, caring, girl. People tend to come to me for advice, yet I could never think of an advice for myself. I'm a very deep person, and try my hardest to make a change in the world. Complicated, I know.

I'm probably more self-concious than any other person you've ever met. I'm the type of person who has little scribbles on the side of all pages she writes on, the type of person whoose a reads the labels off of granola bars, whoose assignment notebook is highlighted and color-coded and much more. I like people who starts a conversation excitingly. In conversations I tend to ramble on and make no sense. I also get distracted when people are talking to me. I like to be social and out there even if I end up embarassing myself.

I guess you can call me smart, but it may only seem that way because I try way too hard. I put 100% effort in everything I do, and it really does pay off people ;) I'm competitive when it has to do with anything. From sports to academics, I compete to be the bestttttt. I know there really isn't any competition, but it's just something that became a habit. Must be hereditary from my dad...

Speaking of dad, my family...I guess you can say I have a normal family, but I really don't. Let's see the cambodian father, who also is a perfectionist and points out every single flaw, ever. There's nothing that could really please him. Oh, for those who don't know waht Cambodia is (though there's google) it's an asian country near Thailand. But living with an asian father who picked strawberries as a living, spending days in cambodia with nothing, really could be a pain. God, those "when I lived in Cambodia..." lectures got to my head. Now, I do respect my dad and all the harsh time's he went through, but really. It's been 40 years, can we get over it? We're in america now. I still love my dad though ♥ Oh I also have a brother, he's the video-gamer obsessed type-kid--Hardly talk to him. And my mother the germaphobe.

I definitely could say I've accomplished a lot throughout 14 years I've been living. Concerning graphic design I've been on an internship just this summer @ Atomickitchen designs for a day. I still am going to continue this internship opportunity next summer, however for a week. I've had numerous designs awarded and published. 2008-2009, my design was published on more than 300 yearbooks for my school. I was awarded Quill and Scroll Award, and an award for excellence from the Jostens company. In the 7th grade, I submitted artwork that was awarded the Scolastic Art Award. And now all this brings me here, to thestudiofairy.com where I'll be persuing dreams and showing you guys my work <3
